Ep #40: Reflecting on Past Mistakes to Make Better Choices in 2023
Monday Dec 12, 2022
Monday Dec 12, 2022
Happy Monday, friend! As we approach the end of 2022, it's important to reflect on our past decisions and learn from them. This week's verse, Proverbs 27:12, reminds us that sensible people will see trouble coming and avoid it, while unthinking people will walk right into it and regret it later. We all have moments where we know we should avoid certain things but choose to do them anyways. Let's take this time to reflect on our past choices and learn from them so we can make wiser decisions in 2023. Join me in today's episode as we dive deeper into this topic.

Ep #39: God’s Lesson To Me After Our Car Was Broken Into
Thursday Dec 08, 2022
Thursday Dec 08, 2022
Hi Friend! I wanted to share a personal story with you today, because I have a feeling maybe you have recently gone through a similar situation. Someone broke into my husband's car earlier this week while he was at the gym, and stole his wallet and made several purchases at Walmart. Yes, we were initially angry, but in my devotions the following day, God made it abundantly clear that I was to forgive this person. I hope you'll join me today as I share more! It's amazing when we hear so clearly from God, isn't it?

Ep #37: Praying for Purity of Heart: Reflections on Psalm 86:11-13
Monday Dec 05, 2022
Monday Dec 05, 2022
Welcome to a new week! As always, I have a powerful verse to share with you. This week's verse comes from Psalm 86:11-13, and it's a prayer for guidance and a pure heart. It says, "Teach me your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart so that I may honor you. With all my heart I will praise you, O Lord my God. I will give glory to your name forever, for your love for me is very great. You have rescued me from the depths of death." It's a powerful reminder to seek God and strive for a pure heart so that we can honor Him in all we do.

Ep #35: Choosing Your Words Wisely: A Lesson from Ephesians
Monday Nov 28, 2022
Monday Nov 28, 2022
Hello and Happy Monday! Welcome back to our weekly Bible verse series. This week's verse is from Ephesians 4:29, "Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them."
It's such a powerful reminder of the impact our words can have on those around us. It's easy to get caught up in the heat of the moment and say things that we later regret, but we need to be intentional about using our words to uplift others and not bring them down.
This verse also ties in with our ongoing No Complaint Challenge. It's not just about avoiding negative language, but actively seeking to speak words that are good and helpful to others. We never know what someone else is going through, and a simple word of encouragement or kindness can make all the difference.
So this week, let's take some time to reflect on our words and how we can use them to be a positive influence in the lives of those around us. Let's strive to be more intentional about the things we say and make sure that our words are always edifying and encouraging.

Ep #34: We Have So Much To Be Grateful For!
Wednesday Nov 23, 2022
Wednesday Nov 23, 2022
Happy Wednesday! And Happy Thanksgiving Eve! I hope and pray you and your families have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow. I know you're probably busy finishing preparations for tomorrow, but if you have a few minutes to spare today I really think this message will bless you. I am sharing one day out of a book called, "40 Days to a joy-filled Life," by Tommy Newberry. This is an amazing book on gratitude and I highly recommend you purchasing it for yourself. Tommy shares that gratitude is a conscious and deliberate decision to focus on life's blessings rather than its shortcomings. I love his perspective on gratitude and I know you will too!
Here is a link to the book!

Ep #33: Happy Thanksgiving Week!
Monday Nov 21, 2022
Monday Nov 21, 2022
Hi friend! Happy Thanksgiving week! Our verse of the week is a Thanksgiving verse (of course!) "Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus." -1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. I know it can be difficult at times to be thankful in ALL circumstances, but we do have so much to be grateful for and it's all about remembering to put our trust in Him.
I hope you have an amazing week of Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for you!

Monday Nov 14, 2022
Happy Monday, Friend! I have a new verse of the week for you. "A Servant of the Lord must not quarrel , but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people." (2 Timothy 2:24 NLT) This verse is in such alignment with our No Complaint Challenge! It isn't always easy to deal with difficult people, right? Hopefully this verse helps you remember what God's word says this week so that we stop ourselves before saying something we regret.
