Ep #70: Breaking Free from the Chains of the Past with God’s Mercies
Monday Apr 24, 2023
Monday Apr 24, 2023
In this episode, we explore the power of God's mercies that are new every morning, as described in Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV): "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
We often hold onto our past mistakes and failures, preventing us from moving forward and fully embracing the person God created us to be. However, these verses remind us that God's love and mercy are boundless and renewed every day, providing us with a fresh start and a new opportunity to grow in Him.
Letting go of the past and accepting God's forgiveness can be challenging, but it is essential for our spiritual growth and freedom. By accepting His mercies, we can break free from the chains of our past and become the person God intended us to be.
So, let's embrace God's new mercies every morning, allowing His love and faithfulness to transform our lives. Thank you for listening, and please share this episode with others who may need to hear this message.

In this episode, we explore the often-quoted verse Jeremiah 29:11, where God promises to have plans for our future. However, we also look at the importance of continuing to read verses 12 and 13 and the significance of wholehearted prayer in discovering God's plans for us.
Many of us may feel lost or confused about our purpose and direction in life. However, God promises that His plans are for good and not for disaster. If we seek Him wholeheartedly and make prayer a priority, He will listen and guide us.
By going beyond just reading verse 11 and delving into the context of the passage, we can gain a deeper understanding of God's intentions for us. We must take the time to seek Him with our whole heart, in everything we do.
If you are feeling stuck and unsure of what God has planned for you, this episode is a must-listen. We discuss the power of prayer and prioritization in finding God's will and the importance of seeking Him with our whole heart.

Good morning and welcome to the Progress NOT Perfection Podcast! Today's episode is all about embracing God's grace and striving for improvement without the pressure of perfection. Our verses for the week come from Romans 3:23-24: “For everyone has sinned. We all fall short of God’s glorious standard, yet God in his grace freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty of our sins.”
As Christian women, it's easy to forget about the incredible gift of God's grace that we have received through Christ Jesus. We all fall short of God's standards and struggle to love and show compassion to others. But thankfully, God freely offers us His grace to make us right in His sight.
We should always strive to improve ourselves and become better versions of who God created us to be. None of us are perfect, but that doesn't mean we should give up. Instead, we should embrace God's grace and allow it to fuel our progress.
Join me as we dive into this important topic and discuss how to use God's grace to achieve our goals without the pressure of perfection. It's time to receive this amazing gift and start living up to God's glorious standard!

Welcome to the Progress NOT Perfection Podcast! Our verse of the week is Ezekiel 36:26, which talks about God giving us a new heart and spirit, removing our stony and stubborn heart, and replacing it with a tender and responsive one. As we read this verse, we realize the need for a change in ourselves, especially in our selfish tendencies.
We all strive to be compassionate and selfless individuals who prioritize others' needs before our own. However, we often fall short of our expectations. We must make it a priority to have a tender and responsive heart that exudes God's love in everything we do.
It's hard to acknowledge how much work we need in this area, but when we read verses like this, the word comes to life, and we realize we can make a difference if we allow God to work through us. We need to pray every morning to remind ourselves of the person we want to be, the kind of person that others see and know that we are a Christian, a woman or man of God, and that we pour out the love He has given us to everyone we encounter.
Join us on the Progress NOT Perfection Podcast as we aim to become better versions of ourselves, one step at a time, relying on God's grace and guidance.

Happy Monday, lovely ladies! Our Bible verse for this week is 2 Corinthians 12:9, "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you. For my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.'"
This powerful reminder is especially relevant for Christian women who are facing struggles and trials in their lives. It's easy to try to rely on our own strength and willpower, but we can take comfort in knowing that God's grace is always sufficient. When we embrace our weaknesses and allow Christ's power to work through us, we can find strength and peace in the midst of our struggles.
As always, I hope this Bible verse of the week encourages and inspires you to keep pushing forward in your faith journey. Thank you for tuning in to Progress NOT Perfection, the podcast for Christian women who are ready to embrace their purpose and transform their lives through faith-based strategies.

Welcome back, friends! Today's Bible verses are Philippians 4:11-12. In these verses, Paul reminds us that contentment doesn't come from material possessions but from the Lord. Whether we have everything or nothing, a full stomach or an empty one, we can learn to be content. It's easy to get caught up in the pursuit of material things, but true fulfillment comes from a relationship with God. This week, let's focus on finding contentment in Him and appreciating the blessings of each moment.

Ep #62: Unity Starts with Listening: James 1:19-20
Monday Feb 27, 2023
Monday Feb 27, 2023
Happy Monday to, my dear friend! I hope you had a restful weekend. Our Bible verses for this week are from James 1:19-20, which remind us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger. It can be challenging to put this into practice, but it's essential for fostering healthy relationships and promoting righteousness.
What if we made a conscious effort to truly listen to others and validate their perspectives instead of always trying to prove our point? Imagine the connection and understanding that could be fostered in our relationships! In a world full of division, we can be the change by embodying these principles in our daily interactions.
As always, I hope these verses inspire and guide you throughout the week.

Monday Feb 20, 2023
Happy Monday, my lovely friend! Our Bible verse for the week is James 4:8, "Come close to God and God will come close to you. It's easy to get distracted by the things of this world, but when we make God our top priority and seek His guidance, He promises to draw near to us.
